The Birth of To-Go Margaritas
When the pandemic reshaped how restaurants operated, we stayed true to our commitment to quality. As soon as Texas allowed cocktails to be sold to-go, Mi Cocina found a way to serve Mambo Taxis outside of our walls without compromising flavor.
We created a split-container system that allowed guests to take home the same high-quality drink they were used to enjoying in our dining rooms. Drinks were sealed, packed in branded black bags, and made available in both 10-ounce servings and full quarts. This innovation changed the game and introduced a new way to enjoy a Dallas favorite.
Today, Mambo Taxi to-go options are still incredibly popular. Whether it’s a single drink after work or eight quarts for a backyard party, our guests continue to celebrate life’s moments with the drink that started it all.
