The Birthday Dinner That Turned Neighbors Into Family

There have been multiple Mi Cocina stories, but the one that always brings me back is my 17th birthday dinner with all my friends, where I met a family from my neighborhood. Fast forward, and their girls are like my sisters. I began babysitting them shortly after we met at Mi Cocina. It’s truly my favorite story, because without Mi Cocina I never would have met them.
