Mi Cocina Lakewood was honored to host an annual dinner on Monday July 31st to raise funds for the Pat & Emmitt Smith Charities.

Pat & Emmitt Smith Charities is a 501-c3 public charity that provides unique educational opportunities and experiences for children. The Pat & Emmitt Smith Charities’ flagship mentoring program — TEAM 22 — offers a multi-year curriculum the includes mentorship, leadership camp, community service, and unique excursions where they meet with community and world leaders. The charity also supports local organizations through annual grants, college scholarships, and hosts an annual back-to-school program serving thousands of children throughout the DFW area.

The evening was filled with food provided Mi Cocina, an Herradura Tequila DIY Margarita bar, and a fun Boomerang Photo Booth that guests could enjoy. Mi Cocina Lakewood was thrilled to be a part of the wonderful efforts of the Pat & Emmitt Smith Charities.
