The same day they celebrated Mi Cocina’s 25 Year Anniversary, founders Bob McNutt, Dick Washburne and Ray Washburne surprised Mi Cocina Restaurant Director, Diana Goicoechea, with a painting of her mother to be displayed inside her restaurant in Highland Park Village. Diana’s mother recently turned 80 years old and the entire family was able to celebrate with her in Mexico, all eight children – the first time they have all been together in many, many years.

Diana started with the company in November of 1999 as a server at the Bent Tree restaurant located at the corner of Frankford Road and the Dallas North Tollway and quickly became a manager at the Preston Rd and Forest Lane location until she was promoted to Restaurant Director at Highland Park Village.

Diana, we are fortunate to have you as part of our Familia for the past 17 years and thank you for your leadership.

Rob Viveros – President, Mi Cocina
